The AFI (American Film Institute) recently put out there (updated) top 100 films of all time list and all of us online movie community people looked at it and were not happy. For several reasons, mainly because of the exclusion of foreign cinema and the lack of much recent films (newer than 25 years). So me and pretty much the rest of the online film community have decided to make up a top 100 films of all time list of our own.
We had to at first come up with 100 films that we thought were worthy and send it to the guy who was basically behind the idea (Jonathan Burdick at CinemaFusion.com, many thanks to him. (And thanks to my good friend Andrew at MoviePatron.com for contributing by making th banners and logos etc.)) and he took in all the lists and came up with an even bigger "consideration" list containing all the movies that were nominated at least three times. Then after being sent the consideration list we had to pick 100 and put them in order from 100-1.
